Some Day I'll Be Classy

Before my house burned down, I had these loverly lil' shoes that were really just a bit of black velvet that almost reached my ankle, topped off w/ a black elastic band, plus nearly worn-out soals (no padding, but they were still comfortable), and heels that stood about 1cm high w/ cheep black paint that chipped, and studded w/ lil' "diamonds." All in all, they were the stuff of tacky costumes, but I really loved them. Even if they were too small and sorta' fallin' apart. This pic is me wearing them, along with my black velvet flares of yore, and my "Oh-My-God-I'd-Kill-To-Own-A-Shirt-Like-That" white fringe shirt that I dreamed up long ago after watching Casablanca followed by some Roy Rogers movie. Yes, the entire shirt is layered fringe. Crazy, but classy and jazzy. Some day that'll be me. And some day my hair will have body, but that will take real miracle.
